The length of this hall can be increased or decreased based on 4 metre modules. Each gable end has a large hooded air vent built-in to improve air circulation. Two large load/unloading doors are positioned, one in each gable end. One door is a rollup type and the other a fold-away.

Deliveries include all necessary ground spikes, hardware and tools to firmly fix the frame to level ground.  The steel tubings and joints have been hot-dipped galvanised following the welding process and are easily joined to form the frame using bolts and simple hand tools.  Once the frame has been erected, the PVC fabric is draped and tensioned over the steel structure and firmly fastened to the foundation frame.

Giertsen halls and accessories are packed in strong wood crates or bundled and colour coded for easy identification and erection. A total of 6 standard Giertsen halls NG1 10 x 24 m can be shipped in one 20 foot container. Packing slips with number of packages, gross weight and dimensions are provided prior to shipping.

The Giertsen hall design provides the flexibility to meet increased or decreased length requirements, based on 4 metre modules.

Each gable end has a large hooded vent built into the cover, designed to prevent rain leaks while improving air circulation.  Two roll-up fabric doors 2.8 x 2.3m and 1.2 x 2.1 m made from the same membrane cover material are provided, centred in each gable end.

Screened windows are provided with roll-up blinds, 2 per module for a total of 8 windows for the standard unit.
