Description:
The Giertsen hall NG1 SMALL is a traditional tent shaped structure consisting of lightweight, easy to assemble steel tubings which are covered with a UV stabilised, PVC-coated polyester fabric. The standard fabric colour is in white and translucent allowing for excellent daylight transmission. The Giertsen hall design provides the flexibility to meet increased or decreased length requirements, based on 4 metre modules.
Each gable end has a large hooded vent built into the cover, designed to prevent rain leaks while improving air circulation. Two roll-up fabric doors 2.8 x 2.3m and 1.2 x 2.1 m made from the same membrane cover material are provided, centred in each gable end.
Screened windows are provided with roll-up blinds, 2 per module for a total of 8 windows for the standard unit.
Construction:
Deliveries include all necessary ground spikes, hardware and tools to firmly fix the frame to virgin ground. The structure is made from steel tubings and joints which have been hot-dipped galvanised after the welding process. The PVC gable has further been welded to the PVC roof section for extra rigidity. The membrane cover is then tensioned over the steel structure and firmly fastened to the foundation frame.
Transport:
Giertsen halls and accessories are packed in strong wood crates or bundled and colour coded for easy identification and erection. 13 units NG1 SMALL 5.5 x 16 meters can be transported in one 20’ container.
