Hallingplast AS (established in 1969) uses polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) in its production of plastic pipes and fittings. Both these materials are characterized by high impact strength, high resistance to chemicals, great flexibility (PE) and high annular rigidity (PP).
The internally smooth pipes give minimal frictional loss, and a probable life for products, as stated by the suppliers of the raw materials, to be a minimum of 100 years, given correct installation and running conditions. In addition we can mention that the materials are extremely environment-friendly. The material can be recycled and used in products such as pallets, noise deflection walls etc.
Hallingplast AS has been NS-EN ISO 9001:2000 certified since 1995.
