Sealift is a wholly Norwegian owned company who maintains a large network of agents and friends in Africa, Asia and Latin America. It was one of the first Norwegian forwarders to be awarded an ISO Quality System Certificate, in 1993, to meet the requirements of North Sea oilfield operators.
As from the very start in 1983, Sealift is working transport projects, mainly in Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Far East. Logistic personnel from the company have several years of fieldwork in their CV, also in UN-service. The company has contribute to urgent delivery of supplies and personell to the latest years large human disasters, such as the earthquake in Iran, flooding in Haiti, war in Sierra Leone, Congo, East Timor and Iran, the tsunami catastrophy and the earthquake in Pakistan. Field administrations in all of these disasters learned to appreciate the speed with which the deliveries took place, and the quality and suitability of NOREPS’ supplied products.
In close cooperation with organizations and suppliers in NOREPS, Sealift is developed into a very worthy freight operator in international emergency operations.
